Tickets selling fast - don't miss out!
If you have not yet booked tickets for There's
Something About Simmy, you better act fast! So many
people have loved the show that they are planning to
book themselves in to see it again!
The press have enjoyed the show too, which The Times
says has "such verve and charm that it's supremely
likeable". The Evening Standard said "If you are
after a fix of that rom-com feelgood factor
There's Something About Simmy could be just the
show... Kumar reaches a quiet place that has heart and
depth"
The birth charts are a perfect match - Simmy, the
imported Indian bride will bring good fortune (and
grandsons) to her in-laws. But Raj, the groom has run
away before the honey could begins! Until he returns,
Simmy is locked in the house by her community obsessed
mother-in-law, and spends her time keeping diabetic
granddad away from the jalebis. The net curtains
start to twitch, as the outrageous Aunties focus their
binoculars on the Bedi family. Why are the new couple
not coming round for a traditional Indian dinner? Is Eid
on the same day as Diwali? Has anyone seen that hooligan
Raj? |

Don't
miss There's Something About Simmy, a story that
explores family, friendship and fate - with a hint of
Bollywood. And if you manage to get tickets to the
last showing at Stratford East, why not pop along to a
Kuch Kuch club night on 29 September!
